Bowriders

Both new and experienced boaters will love bowriders. They are versatile, simple to learn and easy to use. The traditional bowrider is between 15-24 feet long and less than 10 ft wide. However, the longest can reach up to 35 feet. The hull is a standard V-shaped with open bow seating. Decks usually have dual captain's chairs in the front and an L or U-shaped bench seating facing forward or back, depending on which model. This allows for space for 5-9 people.

Because they have something for everyone, bowriders are often called the perfect family boat. These boats can seat up to six people and are great for entertaining friends and family. They also have a higher vantage point so that everyone can see the stunning views. You can cast your fishing line with ease and have plenty of storage space. They are great for water sports and other activities due to their speed and extra platform at the back.

Cabin Cruisers

Cabin cruisers are boats that have enclosed living spaces that can be used both for cruising and fishing. The cabin cruiser will typically have a single outboard engine or a double outboard engine. This means that it will usually have one or two motors at the back. Cabin cruisers can be between 20 and 30 feet long so they are easy to fit into most marinas. They also require less fuel than larger vessels.

Cuddy Cabins

Cuddy cabins can be small boats with cabins built into their hulls. These cabins don't allow for standing, and they are not designed for overnight use. However, some have bathrooms and galleys for food preparation. This allows passengers to take a break from the sun and make a snack, eat a meal, and even nap. Cuddy cabin boats can be approximately 20 to 30 feet long and can carry up to eight people.

Center Consoles

Center console boats, as their name implies, are boats with the console (the part of the boat that controls the steering, ignition, and other controls) located in the middle of the boat. This is unlike most pontoons, bowriders and cruisers which have side consoles. The design allows users to easily walk around the boat's perimeter and still have easy access to the controls. This is why center consoles are often used to fish boats.

Deck boats

Deck boats typically measure between 6 and 7 meters, or 19 to 23 ft. in length, and 1.8-2 meters or 7-8 feet wide. They have lots of deck space and can seat up to 12 people. They have a lot more than just size and capacity. Because they are able to travel at high speeds, deck boats are extremely versatile. Deck boats can travel between 50 and 70 mph.

The boat's speed and spacious deck make it ideal for fishing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, or tubing.

Fishing boats

The term "Fishing boat" can seem a bit loaded. There are many types of boats that can be used to fish depending on the conditions. Fishing can be done with center consoles, bayboats, flat-bottom and inflatable boats. Fishing boats can be designed to catch specific fish in particular environments, or can be used for other water activities. A front bow, rod lockers and a trolling motor are all part of an all-purpose fishing boat.

Jet Boats

Named after their propulsion system, jet boats are also called. Jet boats draw water from the underside of the boat via an intake to a pump jet within the boat. This is in contrast to motorboats and powerboats which use an external propeller. The water is expelled through the boat's back, which propels it forward.

Jet boats are ideal for shallow water crossings because they have low draft due to the location of the jet drive system within the hull. You don't have to worry about the propeller accidentally hitting the bottom, or anything else getting damaged.

These benefits make jet boats a great choice for lake boating.

Pontoon boats

Pontoon boats are something that most people have seen if they've been involved in boating. Because they can be sailed slowly and comfortably with many passengers, pontoon boats are common on rivers and lakes. They can be rectangular or oval-shaped, and have an open flat surface that allows passengers to move around and communicate.

Pontoon boats can accommodate up to 16 people. They are the ideal boat for entertaining. Pontoons are a great choice if you enjoy easygoing boat rides on the water.

Wake Boats

Wake boats are designed to produce a huge wake for either survival or wakeboarding. Inboard engines are often placed in the back of wake boats to increase the boat's weight and create a bigger wake. Wake boats can also have other features that create large wakes, such as water ballast tanks. These tanks can be filled with water to make the boat heavier and more buoyant. They may also have unique hulls that produce the biggest wake possible.

Yachts

Although there are no clear guidelines as to what defines a boat or yacht, it is commonly accepted that boats over 40 feet in length are considered yachts. Yachts are usually built for overnight trips and leisure activities, but not water sports. They usually have multiple rooms, at most one head or toilet, a galley or kitchen and some kind of living space. Yachts are more expensive than traditional boats because they offer ultimate luxury.
